Puebla North Mission Life

DSCN1627

Hey! Well not much happened here this week in Puebla. It was a pretty average week just finding people to teach and doing some trainings for the district leaders as well as the sister training leaders.

So today my companion and I are both pretty tired because we were up super late last night doing the reports for the mission and stuff because it was the end of the month. It always takes super long when we have to do that, and then we played soccer today for 2 hours with the members so now we are worn out!
So before I go I want to share a quick story about our investigator Cesar. He is 88 years old and the funniest guy. So two-weeks ago he showed up to church by himself and so we started passing by and teaching him. This Sunday we went by and took him with us to church. He really liked it. When we are with him it makes me think of where I worked before the mission. Anyways so he forgets things so we have to remind him of a few things but he is learning and doing great. So this week we went to his house and he had a big jar of coffee mix on the table, so we decided to teach the word of wisdom and at the end of the lesson (took a lot of convincing) we took his coffee mix. We went back two days later and there was another jar. He told us that it was for the people that visit him and he was drinking it. So again with a lot of convincing we got him to pour it all down the toilet, and the whole time he was doing it he just kept whispering, “But it’s just so good!” So we are working with him on the coffee thing… Keep him in your prayers.
Well I love you all! Until next week!
